In the past, our project team assisted the client in obtaining a permit for the use of a service station and a convenience restaurant at the above mentioned address. The subject site was originally zoned under Low-density residential. However, considering the unique location of the site being located at the fringe of existing commercially used land, there was scope for a more commercial development opportunity.
They have also assisted the client in preparing town planning drawings and obtained planning permit associated reports by partnering with various engineering, traffic and architecture consultants.
Scope of work included financial management, project reporting, project scheduling and obtaining regulatory compliance from council and various other associated authorities.
The development application was referred to VCAT as council objected to the provision of planning permit. However, with our associated legal team, we were able to successfully obtain the planning permit to develop this land in the first quarter of 2024.
